Adisak Plitapolkarnpim, director of the Child Safety Promotion and Injury Prevention Research Centre, said yesterday the toy, sold as a set of ingredients that children mix, was unsafe as some versions contain toxic chemicals. Dr Adisak's comments came after a Facebook post claiming a girl contracted a blood infection after playing with slime caused public concern. Ingredients can include toxic substances like borax and adhesives.
